The SkyWays in San Antonio levitate over 5 miles above the city, creating a web of stilts and passages which triumph above the skyline- from here they work downwards towards Austin, where they reach a low point in the state, floating at only 1.75 miles above the city. This large difference in height has created a fascinating aesthetic, making the stretch of SkyWays between Austin and San Antonio resemble flowing concrete drapes.
